Bio
Following in my brother Tyler’s footsteps, I started racing in 2009 and took the number 00 racing in the Briggs and Stratton World Formula Rookie racing class. That first year, I got on the podium multiple times and improved my times and positions with every race. I was honored with the Northland Region Karting Association 4 Cycle Rookie of the Year Award. In 2010, I moved up to the World Formula Junior class, finishing 4th overall for the year, highlighted by placing 2nd in the 2010 Minnesota State Sprint Track Championships. I continued to improve in 2011, bringing home my first 1st place victory in July, 2nd in the 2011 Minnesota State Sprint Track Championships, and 4th place overall for the season. Moving up in my 2012 season, I joined the KPV 100 Young Guns Class and had the time of my life. I learned so much and am very proud of how I did. I may have taken the worst crashes so far in my racing career, but it was all worth it. I placed 3rd at the Minnesota State Championships and 4th for the overall championship.
In addition to my racing aptitude, I am an active participant in year round gymnastics at Minnesota Aerials Gymnastics, accumulating multiple All-Around and individual event medals. My 2011 season was highlighted as the Minnesota Star of the North Games, Silver Level Individual All-Around Champion. I also won the Level 5 Harley Davidson Invite bars competition and finished 3rd place overall at the same meet. In 2012 I placed 2nd at the Minnesota State Gymnastics Championships. Continuing onto my 2013 gymnastics season I have been honored in being part of a terrific team and taking home many metals and or ribbons after each competition. I do enjoy participating in gymnastics but I have gained a strong love in coaching too. I plan to continue to coach to earn money to advance in my racing career. I am also an honor roll student, participant in Junior High school volleyball team, USA Junior Olympic volleyball participant, band, and was selected by school staff as a WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) Leader (role model/support person) for younger students. I have been told I am a positive role model for younger racers, encouraging other girls to race, and bring an energetic attitude to everything I do.
